Hello! I'm Bennett Jacobs - owner and operator of Top Dog Garage Door Services. After getting my start in the garage door industry in 2021, I founded Top Dog in 2024 to bring trusted, high-quality garage door solutions to the Twin Cities East Metro and St. Croix Valley.
I was born and raised in Woodbury and Lakeland, MN, and built this business around the same values I grew up with — hard work, integrity, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
When I’m not on a job site, you might find me up in the sky — I’m also a licensed hot air balloon pilot at Stillwater Balloons, a lifelong passion that reflects my focus, patience, and love for hands-on work. I am also an EMT/First-Responder and deeply enjoy giving back to my community as a resource to be first on the scene when someone needs help most. Whether it’s fixing a garage door, lending a hand in an emergency, or soaring above the St. Croix Valley at sunrise, I bring the same level of care, precision, and commitment to everything I do.
